Laser Components has introduced a new series of CS405 and K41 fiber-coupled laser diodes for scientific, printing, illumination, material processing and medical technology applications. The fibre’s output power changes from 20 to 100 mW at 405 nm.
The alignment of 3-60 um fibres offers superior electronic and optical performance. The fibre connection also provides optimal beam performance and long-term stability.
The K41 laser diodes produce up to 30 and 100 mW of power from 3um single-mode fibre with 0.12 numerical aperture and 60um multimode fibre with 0.22 numerical aperture, respectively. The CS405 laser diodes emit 60 mW of power from a 4.5um fibre with 0.06.numerical aperture. The CS405 diode series offers better coupling efficiency.
The laser diodes are available with SMA, ST, and FC connectors, but also come with thermistor and thermoelectric cooler options depending on the design. The components are available in a sturdy metal housing.
