Manufacturer of welding devices, Miyachi Unitek, has deployed an advanced LF1000A fiber laser welder in its Michigan applications laboratory. The welder is utilized for penetration and high-speed welding of aluminium and steel.
The LF1000A fiber laser welder features a high reliable and stable laser power of 1 kW. The welder provides rapid processing when compared to the Nd:YAG laser welders. The welder is suitable for welding solar applications, battery tabs and automotive components.
American Welding Society’s Chairperson of the Detroit section, John Bohr stated that the LF1000A laser welder will prove useful for application development in the Midwest applications lab. The characteristics of the welder are optimized for laser welding, offering superior welding performance and improved welding control to the users.
