NEC Unveils New 43-Inch Bar-Type LCD Display

Manufacturer of LCD displays and projectors, NEC Display Solutions of America, has added a new 43” X431BT display to its X series portfolio. The X431BT bar-type display is specifically designed for retail stores, quick-service restaurants and transportation facilities.

The X431BT display has a native resolution of 1920 x 480 pixels and a contrast ratio of 3000:1.The display increases the messaging options with its DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, and consumes 105 W of power. Users can utilize the side-by-side, Picture on Picture and Picture in Picture modes to display the information in various ways. In the X431BT display, two inputs can be seen concurrently in any mode, either by stretching both the images to fill the screen or by maintaining one aspect ratio of the input.

The LCD display has improved video wall capabilities such as copy function, TileComp and TileMatrix, and can be mounted in both portrait and landscape orientations. The display has an ambient light sensor that offers constant brightness in any light settings. The display is TAA compliant and Windows Vista certified.

NEC Display Solutions’ Director of Product Marketing, Keith Yanke, stated that the X431BT display retains the advanced management and technology features of the S and P display series and can be used in stadium pillars and store shelves.
