Designer and manufacturer of digital signage products, American Industrial Systems (AIS), has unveiled a new series of Open Frame touchscreen LCD displays with 3M touch technology.
The touchscreen monitors are specifically designed for point of information, hospitality, foodservice, self service, digital signage and point of sale applications. The touch-enabled monitors are available in 22”, 19”, 17” and 15” sizes.
The 3M surface capacitive touch technology delivers a cost-efficient and optically-enhanced solution for industrial automation, retail industries and kiosks enclosures. The monitor is enclosed in a metal chassis and comes with a number of mounting options to enable easy and simple integration. The display has optional bezels to protect the screen against liquids, dust and dirt.
The touchscreen monitor has an all-glass touch sensor with the patented 3M ClearTek Hard Coat to provide improved contrast, brightness and light transmission. The display has a touch response time of 5.4 ms, which offers the required speed for challenging applications. The touchscreen LCD displays offer high-speed digital signal processing, which allows on-screen drawing, detect check repetitive touches and enables multi-user touch capabilities.
The display is also integrated with a bending wave sensing technology, which functions properly even when dust, moisture, grime or other static objects are present on the surface. The display also has anti-glare properties to reduce screen reflections in bright environments.
