Imagine Optic announced that it achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in May from Bureau Veritas Certification. The company is in the process of deploying customer service extranet to provide access to quality information to customers.
The extranet will also enable customers to personalize interactions with the company’s support team. One of the main functions of the new customer service extranet is to provide new ideas to the company on how to efficiently serve the clients.
The Technical Director of Imagine Optic, Guillaume Dovillaire, said that attaining the ISO certification was a tough process and the entire company worked carefully to match the internal processes with ISO’s quality requirements.
Commenting on the certification, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Bucourt said it would help the company in further strengthening its place in the market. He added that the company expects an elevation in demand from OEMs in different domains such as life-sciences microscopy.
Bureau Veritas’ Lead Auditor, Jean-Pierre Martin, commended the dedication of Imagine Optic team to assure customer satisfaction with the ISO 9001 standards.
