Eye Safety Study Reveals LEI’s Optical Distracters Can be Operated Safely

Laser Energetics announced that its independent organization, Nevyas Eye Associates/Delaware Valley Laser Surgery Institute, has performed an ‘Eye Safety Study’ on 10 human subjects.

The test subjects were dazed with an optical distractor, Dazer Laser, at a range of 2 m. Results showed that individuals’ eyes showed no changes even after three dazings at higher power levels.

Laser Energetics’ Founder and CEO, Robert Battis, stated that the company has accomplished a major objective and has made the Dazer Lasers to be operated safely across 1-2400 m range. The positive test results of the optical distractors will enable the company to secure orders from institutions, countries, companies and the U.S. Government, he said.

Battis claimed that positive results were obtained as a result of advanced engineering with their Focus Optics and Variable Range in the Dazer Laser DEFENDER and GUARDIAN models and with the addition of the GreenStar DPSS Green Laser and M.E.A.N Beam technologies, the company has the safest day-and-night time optical distracters.
