LASER COMPONENTS, manufacturer of laser and optoelectronics components, offers its next-generation LuxxMaster Raman source for OEM applications. The new laser source is ideal for sensor and Raman spectroscopy applications and can also be used in medical technology, military and industrial applications.
The Raman source utilizes a volume Bragg grating, which stabilizes the 785 nm laser wavelength to within ±0.5 nm over the operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. Simultaneously, the full width of the laser source is minimized to 0.08 nm and the noise level is reduced to less than 0.25% rms. A 5 V supply voltage is required to operate the laser.
The Raman laser source is equipped with USB and FC/APC interfaces. The light source can be controlled via the USB interface by using a personal computer. The Raman source is stable, smaller and more compact than the earlier models. It is affordably priced and available in other wavelengths such as 532 nm.
