UC San Diego Neurosurgeons Employ Monteris MRI-Guided Laser Technology to Treat Malignant Tumors

Monteris Medical announced that their novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided laser technology, the NeuroBlate System, was recently applied by neurosurgeons at UC San Diego Health System to a malignant tumor deep inside a patient’s brain. Lockheed Martin ADAM Laser System Disables Two Boats in Offshore Tests

In tests off the California coast, a Lockheed Martin prototype laser system successfully disabled two boats at a range of approximately 1.6 kilometers (approximately 1 mile).
