A leading developer of inEtelligent LED light fixtures, Ringdale, has signed a deal with Sojitz Systems for manufacturing, licensing and distribution of LED products in Japan.
The Japanese company will manufacture lighting fixtures using the ActiveLED technology of Ringdale.
Sojitz Systems produces lighting fixtures for applications such as parking structures, building exteriors, offices, parks, streets, billboards, warehouses, retail spaces and restaurants. These solid-state light fixtures consume 50–95% less energy when compared to conventional lights such as CFL, HID, LED bulb replacements, incandescent, FL and HPS.
Ringdale has created ActiveLED-based lighting fixtures to comply with the strict demands of the enterprise customers who are determined to replace inefficient lighting fixtures or to install energy-efficient LED light fixtures in new building projects.
The Chief Scientist and CEO of Ringdale Klaus Bollmann said that they found Sojitz as a good source in the Japanese market in terms of access and manufacturing ability after a search for capable partners in all major parts of the world. A technology consultant in Ringdale, Stephen Maysonave, commented that the company has created premiere commercial LED products and Sojitz focuses on acquiring complete access to the LED market in Japan. This makes both the companies perfect partners, Maysonave said.
Sojitz Systems’ President Kazunori Obata noted that they chose ActiveLED products following a comprehensive research in the Japan and the U.S. markets. As these products offer longer duration and consume less energy, besides operating in a more cool manner and depreciating lesser in course of time, they contribute a unique benefit in the market, Obata added.
