Fiber-Optic Cable Expansion for Oncore

Oncore Power Systems, a leading supplier of portable power sources for laptops, today introduces a new line of fiber-optic network cables and cable assemblies. Oncore now offers fiber-cable assemblies in 10-Gigabit laser-optimized or standard 50-micron multimode, 62.5/125 multimode, single-mode, and mode-conditioning cables.

Omcore's fiber-optic cables are targeted for telecommunications, video applications, and computer networks for enterprise, small to medium businesses, education, military, hospital, and other industries.

"For years, customers have come to trust Oncore for guaranteed, high-quality products. We are now building on that reputation and expanding our offerings to include fiber-optic network cables. These products come with Oncore's guarantee and our strong commitment to customer satisfaction," said Mark Rapparport, president of Oncore, headquartered in Newport Beach, CA.

Rapparport is the founder of Xtend Micro Products, the company that introduced the first laptop adaptor for airline in-seat power systems that allowed mobile users to remain powered up during a flight. Xtend is now part of the iGo product line owned and offered by Mobility Electronics (Scottsdale, AZ). Rapparport then founded Oncore Power Systems to bring mobile power products, replacement batteries, and other products to mobile computer users.
