Santec AOC Corporation has won the 2024 Ringier Technology Innovation Award, presented by Ringier Trade Media Ltd., for its "Spatial Light Modulator for High-Power Lasers (SLM-300)."
In the selection process, technical achievements in 'product innovation,' 'promotion of industrial development value,' and 'market performance with optical components,' as well as feedback from users were taken into account.

Santec SLM-300 is a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) based spatial light modulator developed for high-power laser applications. The device is designed, developed and manufactured in house by Santec AOC Corporation, and is characterized by its high photostability (>200W/cm2), high phase resolution (10 bit), and high phase stability (<0.003π rad). Our spatial light modulators provide efficient and precise light control for users requiring optical phase control.
The SLM-300 can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of processes such as laser processing, 3D printing, and beam shaping. Its features are ideal to bring new possibilities to these applications for scientific research and industrial applications.
