Himax Expands Partnership with Optinvent to Develop Advanced Smart Glasses

Himax Technologies, Inc. ("Himax" or "Company"), a leading supplier and fabless manufacturer of display drivers and other semiconductor products, announced today that its subsidiary, Himax Display Inc., a leading manufacturer of LCOS Microdisplay panels, and Optinvent SA, a leading producer of the disruptive ORA Smart Glasses, will undertake an additional partnership to develop next generation augmented reality glasses that should be among the most technologically advanced products in the smart glass market.
