Magnalight’s New Heavy Duty Quad Pod Light Tower Serves Harsh Environments

Larson Electronics’ Magnalight has declared that its product portfolio has been complemented with new heavy duty light tower that generates brilliant illumination with increased durability in a compact, versatile design.

Magnalight’s new WAL-QP-2X500-25 work area floodlight, designed to withstand harsh operations and for heavy duty use is equipped with two 500W quartz light heads and generates a 17,500 lm light beam with a wide flood pattern that can light up 6,400 sq.ft of work space. The light heads can be altered autonomously.

The WAL-QP-2X500-25 is provided with four foldable supporting legs that remain stable under extreme conditions like wind. The light assembly is integrated with a removable mounting bracket. An integral carry handle located at the heart of the tower enables easy dismantling and portability.

With this extremely compact design, the new Magnalight offering can easily be transported via ship or air. This convenient light tower is made up of heavy duty materials including 1” diameter by 1/8” thick steel support legs, 3” diameter steel center post and spring loaded push pins for tower adjustment locking. In addition, an incorporated 25’ 16/3 SEOOW abrasive has been provided along with oil resistant power cord equipped with 5-15 straight blade plug. A heavy duty painted finish adds elegance besides shielding the design from corrosion and other impacts. This tower is flexible and can be mounted up to 7 -10’ in height and additional 2-in facilitates optimal location of the work area.

A set of base mounted wheels had also been provided for simplified installation, where operators can just tilt the assembled tower and transport it within the work area. The new heavy duty quad pod light tower is therefore ideal for application in the areas requiring excellent source of illumination with improved portability.
