Barska Introduces Brass Telescopes and Spy Scopes

Barska Sport Optics has developed a series of brass telescopes, named as the Anchormaster Series. The brass series consists of telescopes, spy scopes and opera glasses.

Anchormaster Telescope

The designs have a classic antique touch to them and resemble telescopes that were used in tall ships and pirates. These telescopes are accented with mahogany to give a classy appeal. The focal pieces of the telescopes are elegantly designed.

The Anchormaster telescopes are constructed using high quality materials in order to provide optics of high clarity. There are two models available as part of the series, the 36 power 90080 AE10824 and the 28 power 70060 AE10822. These models provide a high level of precision and will be a sophisticated addition to an astronomer’s collection. The lens used in the telescope is a fully coated achromatic lens, which provides a clear image. These telescopes come with a 45° erecting diagonal, which is useful for viewing upright images on land. They are most suitable for viewing celestial objects like planets and also for terrestrial viewing. The spy scope is of the hand-held type measuring 18 by 50 mm. It resembles a nautical scope, which was used way back in the seventh century. Storage of the spy scope is easy as it is collapsible and fits into a mahogany chest.
