Stemmer Imaging Launches ExoLight LEDs for Machine Vision Lighting Applications

The MetaBright ExoLight range of LEDs from Stemmer Imaging can be used to replace conventional fluorescent lighting and is suitable for robot-mounted and cost-effective machine vision lighting applications.

Advanced optics and LED technology in high brightness LEDs deliver powerful yet uniform area illumination with an intensity that is three times higher than fluorescent lighting.

The ExoLight range of LEDs comes in a wide variety of lengths ranging from 8” to 48”. The wavelengths offered by of the LEDs include red, white, green, blue, amber, IR, UV and RGB. Cool diffused light is emanated from multiple point sources with the help of micro-lens diffusers made from anisotropic plastic material.

The stable light output generated has greater intensity. The LEDs are cost-effective and have higher lifespan. Unlike other LEDs that suffer from multiple shadows and hot spots, the ExoLight renders a light output that is even and intense.

The ExoLights are free from EMI, RFI, mercury and glass content. They are eco-friendly and have a lifespan of up to 100,000 h. The fully CE rated LED lights do not require any maintenance.
