TeraXion has introduced three new product lines to its existing laser components, specialized lasers and dispersion compensation portfolio.
TeraXion’s tunable dispersion compensators have played a vital role in the emergence 40 Gbit/s networks. Dedicated to meet the growing demands of the market, TeraXion has always kept abreast with its advanced product offerings. The new products will cater to research and development laboratories, which focus on innovation and enhancement of optical communication products.
Adding to the ClearSpectrum dispersion compensation range of products, the CS-CDE Chromatic Dispersion Emulator is a low loss module that can emulate several thousands of picoseconds per nanometer. Expanding TeraXion’s PureSpectrum range of specialized lasers is the PS-TNL, a Tunable Narrow Linewidth laser based on the ITLA technology. It suppresses white night by using an optical filter method. The third addition is the PS-LS Laser Synthesizer, which features an analog high-gain optical phase-lock loop.
The Vice-President, Product Management & Technology of TeraXion, Martin Guy stated that the coherent communication products will be beneficial to optical system providers.
TeraXion will showcase its specialized lasers, dispersion compensators and coherent communication products at the OFC/NFOEC exhibition, which will be held in Los Angeles, from 8 to 10 March 2011.
