dilitronics Introduces Compact LED Driver for Interior Lighting Applications

dilitronics GmbH has launched a compact LED driver that has been specifically designed for interior lighting purposes.

The DIL16CL01 LED driver is capable of managing about 16 LED modules and features DALI, TCP/IP or DMX interfaces. These features create new possibilities of using LEDs in interior lighting applications such as conference rooms, bars, hotels and workplaces, shops, boutiques, trade fairs and exhibitions, to name a few.

The MCC16 lighting series has a unique DIL16CL01 LED driver chip that provides direct access to a separate LED channel through the embedded communications interface.

Dilitronics’ Sales Director, Meinrad Braun stated that the ban on traditional lighting fixtures has driven the demand for LEDs and efficient LED drivers help in reducing installation expenditures. Braun added that the company’s MCC16 with innovative LED driver is efficient and also cuts down the number of components.

Braun further informed that using the TCP/IP interface with the LED driver sets a new benchmark in the lighting technology, and the MCC16 product series will be extended to streamline the deployment and operation of LED lighting.

The DIL16CL01 LED driver was showcased at the ‘Light and Building 2010’ expo.
