GAO Instruments Introduces Intelligent Communication Cable Fault Tester with LCD Screen

GAO Instruments has launched a new sensitive and intelligent communication cable fault tester with a built-in backlit LCD screen.

Multi-functional Automatic Communication Cable Fault Tester

The A0310007 tester is suitable for locating faults including poor insulation, water absorption, geothermy, misconnection, and core wire breaks in the maintenance and acceptance testing of electrical cable.

The tester combines the features of an automatic bridge, a 250 V high-voltage digital megohmmeter, an ohmmeter and an OTRD. It features three testing clamps and a multi-lingual interface. In addition, the cable fault tester displays six resistance values between the connection line and A, B paired lines on the LCD screen. The battery charger and intelligent switch-mode power supply protects from reverse connection, short-circuit, over-current and over-voltage of power supply.

The A0310007 fault tester utilizes DAGC + DWAR technology and CAC technology for waveform visualization. The device uses quick automatic bridge testing points for 50 MÙ poor insulation in 4 s. In addition, it utilizes precision soldering that allows an SMT pin distance of 0.55mm. The tester offers safe operation, multi-functional automatic communications and intelligent printing across high voltage.
