Point Grey Research, developer of digital camera solutions, has released a new range of digital cameras based on the CMV4000, CMV2000, and CMOSIS shutter CMOS sensors.
The Gazelle Camera Link series includes 4.1 and 2.2 MP monochrome models and features region of interest and pixel binning modes and an opto-isolated input output for strobe output and for industrial triggering purposes.
The 4.1 MP camera model delivers images with a resolution of 2048 x 2048 pixels at a rate of 150 fps whereas the 2.2 MP model generates images with a resolution of 2048 x 1088 pixels at a rate of 280 fps. Both the models feature a camera link digital interface in Full and Base configurations.
Gazelle cameras have power sensors, an onboard temperature sensor, two ribbon connectors, an optical window, and a C-mount lens holder. The cameras are also provided with a tripod mounting bracket, which is ASA/ISO-compliant. They also feature reverse imaging, row windowing, and 10- and 8-bit image modes. Users have the ability to control the camera operation by utilizing the camera’s command set along with an external frame grabber software.
