City of Corunna Retrofits EvoLucia LED Light Fixtures

LED lighting company, EvoLucia announced that the city of Corunna in Michigan has completed retrofitting numerous 175 W downtown metal halide streetlights with the company’s 48 W LEDs. The Department of Public Works replaced the HID lamps with plug-and-play LED kits, called the EvoLucia PTR Retrofit Kits. In addition, the Department of Public Works had replaced the globes.

The downtown LED retrofit project in Corunna was completed due to two grants offered by the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth (DELEG). EvoLucia offers LED fixtures for a wide range of applications including architectural lighting and parking garages.

The Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at EvoLucia, Jim Perkins stated that the city of Corunna is delighted with the results obtained from the performance of the company’s LED solutions. He added that the company plans to achieve better results for the other cities in the country.
