Lockheed Martin Selects MRC Optics Facility for Supplier Program

MRC Optics announced that Lockheed Martin has selected the company’s facility for the Missiles and Fire Control supplier program. A wholly owned subsidiary of Photonics Products, MRC Optics currently offers beryllium alloy and aluminum optical mirrors for the Missiles and Fire Control program.

MRC Optics’ optical subassemblies and components are utilized in various applications such as intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, satellite surveillance systems, night vision, and thermal imaging systems. It is also used in polygon scanners, beryllium optics, huge plano optics and fire control/target acquisition systems.

MRC Optics informed that the program, which is designed to create a high-quality chain supply, is a three-step supplier recognition system.

MRC Optics provides various services such as optomechanical designing, beryllium machining, nickel plating, polishing and precision diamond machining for original equipment manufacturers.
