BP, LSI Industries Collaborate for LED Lighting Upgrade Program

BP Products North America has selected LSI Industries as the supplier for a new LED canopy lighting upgrade project. LSI will serve as the lighting expert for BP and will play a major role in the domestic retrofit program.

LSI is a US-based company and develops solid-state LED technologies for graphics and lighting applications, and produces eco-friendly lighting fixtures as well as graphics elements for specialty, retail, and commercial market applications. BP is a major petroleum company.

The domestic LED lighting program involves production and supply of energy-efficient LED lights as well as site survey to estimate product requirements. Earlier, the retrofit program included a test program of 100 sites and has been in the planning phase for a number of months.

The program is estimated to include up to 1,600 sites per annum for three years and will utilize the company’s Crossover Generation 3 LED canopy fixture that is attracting significant interest.
