Brinker Restaurants to be Installed with LED Lights

Brinker International, a parent company of the Maggiano’s and Chil’s restaurant chain, is using LED to illuminate its restaurants. The company is currently installing over 125,000 Eco-story’s interior and exterior LED lamps at its 827 corporate-owned restaurants.

The LED lights of Eco-story are based on Cree’s technology. According to the tests conducted on LED lamps in 10 stores, Brinker announced that it anticipates saving $87 per store each week. This saving will result in an annual electricity savings of about $3.7 million. The other factor considered for the lights is the color of the lighting. Conventional LEDs produce a bluish colored light.
