Digital LED printers

OKI Data has made key developments in compact, high-speed printer by leveraging its digital LED technology. The C510dn and the C530dn LED printers feature an automatic duplex printing function and measure 9.5” in height, which is the lowest in the world for a digital color printer.

The printer’s image drum unit is reengineered to enable the use of a single unit for printing the entire colors. The waste toner box is also reconfigured to allow the use of a single box. The new modifications have reduced the printer’s height by 10 cm and the volume by 40% compared to traditional printer models. Thus, the OKI’s LED printers are suitable for any busy workgroup settings.

OKI Data’s President, Harushige Sugimoto stated that the company is delighted to receive the Good Design Award for the C510dn and C530dn printers. Sugimoto added that the design methodology of these printers is based on three important attributes, which is simple, solid, and smart-S3.
