UL8750-Certified LED Drivers Released by Recom Power

Recom Power has announced a family of constant-current LED drivers that achieved UL certification. The LED drivers feature power factor correction and universal AC input. The 20 W and the 12 W LED drivers of the LightLine RACD family meet the requirements of the LED lighting market.

The new two modules , with constant-current output of 700 mA or 350 mA, and universal AC input, are ideal for driving any LED developer’s products and all LED systems, because of the diverse output voltage range. The modules can be utilized with single LEDs or with strings of a maximum of 16.

The RACD20 and the RACD12 have an inbuilt power factor correction in excess of 0.95. They have a fused input and a 3-k VAC input/output isolation. The drivers are shielded against overtemperature, overload, open circuit, and short circuit, resulting in a safe, trouble-free and robust design. They are also UL8750 certified to drive LED arrays.

The LED drivers are easy-to-use, and they provide output and input screw terminals with a 5.5 mm socket output. The socket enables the LEDs to be pre-wired to protect against miswiring. The devices have an operating life of more than 70,000 hours, and are ideal for industrial, residential, and commercial lighting systems.
