Vivitek Unveils Home Theater Projector Series at CEDIA

Developer of visual presentation products, Vivitek has unveiled its home theater projector series at CEDIA. Vivitek has a comprehensive range of projector models for large venues and home theaters, including the H1080FD 1080p and the LED-based H9080FD projectors.

Vivitek will also roll out two new projectors that are the D8300 large-venue crossover, and the H9030FD LED extreme short-throw projectors. The products will complement the existing 1080p models, which include the H9080FD high-end LED model; the H5085, H5082, and H5080 mid-level professional grade models; and the H1085, H1082 and H1080FD entry level models.

The D8300 crossover projector offers a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. It has an inbuilt 1.3x zoom with a manual lens shift. The D8300 has various connectivity choices such as RS-232c, S-video, Component and Composite video, BNC, and HDMI v1.3. It features BrilliantColor and DLP technologies from Texas Instruments.

The H9030FD short-throw projector delivers LED-lamp based projection with expected lamp life of 20,000 hrs. It has a contrast ratio of 50,000:1, and incorporates BrilliantColor and DLP technologies from Texas Instruments. It has various connectivity choices such as component video, S-video, composite video, VGA-in, and HDMI v1.3.
