Dimulator Triggers Dimming of LED Outdoor Lighting

Developer of Roadway Lighting Controls, FP OLC / Sunrise Technologies has rolled out a patent-pending Dimulator that triggers the dimming of LED Outdoor Lighting.

The Dimulator generates a pulse width modulation or 0–10 Vdc output to LED drivers for activating the dimming feature.

The Dimulator module, for local dimming control purposes, obtains a signal from a Sunrise Technologies MidNight Tracker control to decrease the LED illumination at midnight. The Sunrise Technologies Wireless Outdoor Lighting Control offers a signal to the Dimulator for remote dimming control purposes. The Dimulator system can also attain a signal through a contactor to activate dimming.

FP OLC / Sunrise Technologies’ VP, Vance Spillman stated that the dimulator has filled the void of dimming LED Outdoor Lights via a three wire system or a NEMA twistlock receptacle.
