Provider of fiber-optic data and video transmission devices, ComNet has launched a new, advanced audio over fiber product, to address the challenge of audio transmission over long distances.

FVXARC1 Receiver

ComNet’s ValueLine FVXARC1 Receiver and FVXATC1 Transmitter Series send a single line audio and then contact closure signal over a single mode, or multimode optical fiber. The product series is suitable for applications such as Broadcast-Quality audio, or Public Address Announcements that need to transport line-level audio and contact signals for over few hundred feet.

The President of ComNet, Andrew Acquarulo stated that audio transmission devices offer a more comprehensive solution set for its customers. ComNet’s VP of Marketing, Frank Haight commented that the company has rolled out a complete fiber-optic solution for the ITS and security markets, in a short time span.
