Imtra Introduces New Energy-Efficient LED Downlights

Manufacturer of next-generation LED products, Imtra, has released new Cyprus and Sardinia LED downlights with integrated drive electronics. The LED downlights can replace conventional 120 V to 35 W halogen lights that are normally used on large vessels and yachts.

The 120 V LED lights’ built-in drive electronics accept a line voltage of 120 VAC and remove the need for LED converters, step-down transformers or external drivers that are required by conventional halogen and LED products.

The Cyprus LED fixture has a tapered edge design, while the Sardinia has a standard raised square-edge bezel. Both LED lights provide a 45-degree illumination angle to boat owners and utilize less than 11 W. The LED lights offer a warm and bright illumination and can be installed easily. The lights can be secured using spring traps for the paneled ceilings or screw-mounted for the rigid ceilings.

The Cyprus and the Sardinia downlights are available in white powder-coated, brushed stainless and polished stainless finishes. Both LEDs include a thermal management system that comprises a thermal compensation function and a heat sink design. The thermal compensation function switches off the light in case of overheating.
