Georgia-based LED linear lighting manufacturer, Redbird LED, is working on a major retrofit project for Trinity Presbyterian Church.
The company will replace the church’s fluorescent lights with energy-efficient and durable LED linear lighting.
The LED lights offer a number of benefits. For instance, the LED linear lights reduce energy consumption and are eco-friendly compared to traditional lighting fixtures. The LED lights have a lamp life of over 50,000 h and also reduce maintenance expenditures.
The Trinity Presbyterian Church had contacted Redbird LED to perform a lighting analysis and audit of the existing lighting systems. Following this, the company suggested the church to retrofit the current 32 W fluorescent lights with the 16 W LED linear lights.
Greg Hoopes, Property Manager, stated that their long-term objective is to replace the entire lighting systems with energy-saving light fixtures. He added that they intend to use the advanced LED technology for a wide range of lighting applications.
