Cooper Industries’ division, Cooper Lighting, has unveiled a new outdoor LED luminaire, the McGraw-Edison Ventus. The outdoor area luminaire provides the highest light quality and optical performance.
These LED luminaires incorporate the company’s AccuLED Optics system and the LightBAR technology to enable customization of energy and lumen output. This helps to satisfy the outdoor area needs such as over-lighting of spaces, avoiding wasted energy, and obtrusive spill light.
The Ventus LED Area Luminaire has been enhanced to deliver an energy-efficient and uniform illumination to roadways, building areas, parking lots, and security lighting, offering a maximum energy savings of 75%. The outdoor luminaire is provided in 2 - 12 LightBAR system configurations that are IP66 rated, along with 15 optical distribution selections.
The long lasting luminaire offers a 4000K correlated color temperature white light, without compromising on performance and lumen output. The outdoor LED luminaire enables natural heat sink cleaning and passive cooling to assure dependable operation in temperature between -30°C and +40°C. The outdoor luminaire complies with the Dark Sky, hence, solves the problems of sky light pollution, and light trespass.
