Bosch Launches Dinion and FlexiDome IP cameras

Bosch Security Systems has launched 40 FlexiDome and Dinion IP cameras. The new product line includes standard IP cameras that are suitable for well-lit applications, and advanced models that are suitable for extreme lighting conditions. The cameras incorporate latest H.264 main profile video compression that delivers video in broadcast  quality, which needs a maximum of  50% less space for storage.

The IP camera is offered with an optional built-in Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA), which provides automated help to the security personnel by processing the detailed images. Security personnel are alerted by the IVA for suspicious activities such as perimeter breaches, or loitering. The cameras also support the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard, ensuring easy installation.

The NDN-498 and NBN-498 series cameras feature the 2X-Dynamic Technology of Bosch along with 20-bit processing. This gives the cameras two times more power than traditional cameras. The cameras use wide dynamic and 2X-Dynamic range sensors to analyze each and every pixel of the images and to deliver the most detailed images under difficult lighting. These cameras are ideal for day/night surveillance applications.

The Smart Backlight Compensation (BLC) feature of the cameras optimizes light levels to view objects of interests with a brighter backdrop. The addition of 40 new IP cameras enables Bosch to cover all the areas of a customer’s facility. The IP cameras are suitable for different applications including parking lots, outdoor perimeters, casinos, and for traffic monitoring.
