Qioptiq, a global company which designs and manufactures photonic products and solutions, today announced that it has introduced a new and innovative intraoral camera with autofocus for the dental market.
Ergonomically designed, the inspec.d is the latest generation of intraoral cameras from LINOS (soon to be rebranded as Qioptiq). It has excellent image quality and autofocus capability and is an ideal tool for dentists for optimizing patient communication as well as for documentation of individual therapeutic success.
The auto focus optic with eight lenses allows distortion and color aberration-free imaging for all areas of application from tooth surface to full face. The latest ten-bit technology with high-sensitive CCD sensors guarantees impressive image quality.
Innovative, patented liquid lens technology, allows fast and user-friendly auto focus combined with an advanced depth of focus. Using a combination of edge and contrast detection the Inspec-d meets the demands of many dental applications.
The Inspec.d is operated by one cable connection, which is used to transmit clear, bright images as well as control all signals and provide the power supply.
The small, slender camera head allows easy positioning even in the area of the molars. It is made of a premium hybrid material, has no moving parts and is easy to clean and maintain meaning it fulfils the highest hygiene standards. It can be used on different chair units simply by plug in/off.
