Sensofar has founded a new office and subsidiary in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China – Shanghai Sensofar Tech Company Ltd. The move provides critical support for Sensofar’s existing sales and forms a solid basis for continued growth in the region.

Sensofar has been active in the Far East since the company’s initial founding. Sales to the region have been steadily climbing and now amount to a significant share of Sensofar’s turnover. To complement the Sales Office in Japan and the existing distributor network across Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Oceania and China, Sensofar has now established the regional office in Shanghai.
Founding and Managing Partner Leslie Yu has almost ten years of experience with selling and supporting Sensofar’s 3D surface metrology and medical inspection systems in the region, and over half of that period as one of Sensofar’s leading distributors in Asia. Shanghai Sensofar Tech Company will now coordinate activities of all of Sensofar’s remaining distributors in the whole of Asia.
Two activities kicked-off the Sensofar Group’s continued commitment to the region. Firstly, an Asia Sales Meeting took place in mid-September, with more than 20 attendees using the demonstration systems to learn about Sensofar’s latest technology developments. Secondly, Shanghai Sensofar Tech Company supported Sensofar Medical at the MEDTEC China exhibition (September 22-25, 2015) at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition And Convention Center (www.medtecchina.com/index.php/en).
