Company Spinning Out Optical Communication Products Division

The board of directors of AdTech Optics, Inc., a privately held corporation, announced today that the company is spinning out its optical communication products division as a new, privately held corporation named D-Tech Optoelectronics.

The separation of AdTech Optics and D-Tech Optoelectronics is amicable and is based on the divergent businesses of the two companies. Mary Fong, chairman and CEO of AdTech Optics, will also assume the responsibilities of chairman and CEO of D-Tech. Dr. Xiucheng Wu, also previously of AdTech Optics, will move over to D-Tech as president and CTO. According to Mary Fong, "The dedication and hard work of our team has resulted in consistent and solid growth of both businesses. We are very excited by the spin-out of D-Tech which gives us greater future flexibility to enhance both businesses."

D-Tech Optoelectronics will continue to operate at their current location in the City of Industry, and will maintain continuity with their current vendors, customers and partners.
