The agreement expands distribution of Tellabs' Optical LAN into the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.
temple will handle Optical LAN distribution for businesses, government agencies and other organizations. temple will build on its relationships with value-added resellers, system integrators and other supply chain partners to sell, deploy and maintain Optical LAN for EMEA customers.
Tellabs' industry-leading Optical LAN is a high-tech replacement for conventional copper-based Ethernet LANs. It saves businesses up to 70% in the cost of ownership, lowers energy consumption by up to 80%, and reduces space needs by up to 90%. Tellabs Optical LAN combines all of a building's communications networks into one, improving security and eliminating the need for future re-cabling.
The temple agreement is the next step as Tellabs builds up its distribution ecosystem. Tellabs PartnerPlus Program is expanding relationships with distributors, value-added resellers and system integrators around the world.
