B&W Tek, an advanced instrumentation company producing optical spectroscopy and laser systems is pleased to announce the completion of its first series of educational videos.
The 6 episode series discusses various types of spectroscopy, each video focusing on one technique and including examples of real world applications, equipment used to take a measurement, and discussion on the definitions and theories behind each topic.
“At B&W Tek, we have put a strong emphasis on giving back to the spectroscopy community through educational outreach via activities such as our webcasts, whitepapers, and New Horizons program,” says Robert Chimenti, Marketing Manager at B&W Tek. “Our hope is that these videos become a resource for anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge of spectroscopy by making the videos free and open to the public on our webpage and YouTube channel.”
The topics covered in the first season of educational videos include emission, transmission, reflection, absorption, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy. B&W Tek plans to produce several more educational series over the coming years. They are currently planning to delve deeper into the nuances of Raman spectroscopy in the next series of videos, which should be released later this year.
