Cree has launched 2000 and 3000 lm LMH2 module range, which provides a new dome lens as well as a universal driver with dimming options for lighting manufacturers.
The new lens generates a unique hemispheric light pattern and facilitates up to a 5% increase in system efficiency than the standard lens. The LMH2 modules from Cree ensure true 50 W and 70 W ceramic metal halide LED replacements, thereby promoting lighting applications such as flush-mounted, downlights, wall sconces, spot, pendants, track and ceiling fan lights.
The innovative LMH2 module is being offered with a 120V-277 V universal driver, available in 0/1-10 V dimming capability. The modular LMH2 LED provides a variety of color temperature, driver, and beam shape and lumen options combined into a single common form factor, through which lighting designers can customize their applications and accelerate their time-to-market.
The LMH2 can generate 80 LPW system efficacy integrated with 90+ CRI and optimized with the dome lens’ new hemispheric beam shape. Based on Cree TrueWhite technology, the 2000 and 3000 lm LMH2 module series produces over 95 LPW at the light source.
The module is being offered in a variety of color temperatures such as 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K and 4000 K. With 5% dimmability, the LMH2 have an extended 50,000 h of operation. The UL-recognized LMH2 light source also meets the multiple international regulatory and safety standards. Luminaire designers anticipating ENERGY STAR designation can access LM-80 reports and other specification and performance data that will contribute to rapid regulatory approvals.
