Resolve Optics has declared that the range of focal length of the Model 290 zoom lens has been extended from 24 to144 mm.
This zoom lens is resistant to radiation. This new range of 6x zoom lens occupies a similar footprint as the standard Model 290 and will help the users to view the subject at a closer distance and easily read with no reduction in performance.
The company’s Model 290 series of motorized zoom lenses have been specifically designed so as to offer a 6x zoom in a compact package. The users with the help of this new range extended zoom lens can potentially capture the image of the objects from 800 mm to infinity, without including add-on adapters. When the object focus is set at infinity, this new zoom lens attains high resolution of the image on axis at full aperture, all through the range of zoom without focusing again. The extended range Model 2 lens operates at f/1.8 and offers high resolution of the image and very less geometric disturbances from 400-750 nm.
Resolve Optics has experience for more than 20 years and has gained a strong reputation in providing optical products and radiation resistant lenses promptly.
All the optical elements used in the company’s non browning zoom lenses are created by means of synthetic silica or cerium oxide doped glass that enables the lens to bear an exposure of radiation of up to 53 kGy and temperatures up to 55°C without discoloration.
