Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, announces that it was the winner of a coveted 2011 Life Science Industry Award® recognizing best-in-class life science suppliers. Carl Zeiss Microscopy won the 2011 Best Cell Biology Instruments (Microscope-Based) Award, besting six other nominees in the category.
The Life Science Industry Awards are an annual event where thousands of life scientists nominate and vote for the best performing supplier in 29 distinct product and customer communications and support categories. The Life Science Industry Awards, hosted and presented by BioInformatics LLC, were recently announced at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC. BioInformatics is the premier market research and advisory firm serving the life science industry.
Using industry best-practices market research methodologies, BioInformatics surveyed more than 6,000 scientists drawn from BioInformatics LLC’s online Science Advisory Board® to determine preferred suppliers in 29 individual categories within instrumentation, consumables, customer communication and support, and research and technology areas.
“We are extremely honored to have been selected for this prestigious award,” said Dr. Maya Everett, Strategic Marketing Manager for Carl Zeiss Microscopy. “Our competitors within the best performing microscope-based cell-biology instruments category are amongst the world’s finest microscopy companies, so to be selected as the winner is especially gratifying. The award confirms our success in serving our customers as North America’s only provider offering solutions for light, electron, and ion microscopy.”
