Lighting Japan 2012 will showcase Delta Electronics’ 1000 lm light bulb, the extremely light-weight omni-directional LED bulb, weighing only 130g. The other products exhibited by Delta at the show include system integration capabilities of group in renewable energy, energy-efficient and high-quality products, LED lighting products with high-lumen and dimming technologies. Delta will also demonstrate its new tube solutions for indoor applications, especially railway train stations for the Japanese market.
The new bulb aims to replace 100W and 80W incandescent bulbs with a beam angle of 120° and 240°. This novel, light bulb’s weight offers longer product life and improves product performance including lower greenhouse gas emissions and increased energy-efficiency.
Other innovative products from Delta include wind-powered LED streetlight solutions and solar-LED streetlight. The wind-powered LED streetlight solution features a 400W-system with a programmable controller and provided with a safety breaker to protect when wind speed is over 42.5 m/s. The wind turbine is capable of generating over 1300 W to light up an LED streetlight of 6000 lm. The whole system can be dual-powered by wind and the city power grid and meets the IP65 standards.
A solar panel is equipped with the solar-LED streetlight solution that generates a 5500lm LED streetlight with an analog programmable dimming function. The related 90 lm/W system can be powered by 150W solar power input, independently for three days. This system can also be dual-powered by the city power grid and solar panel.
The fourth LED/OLED Technology Expo of Lighting Japan is scheduled between January 18 and 20, 2012. The West Hall WL5-10 of Tokyo Big Sight will be occupied by Delta Electronics.
