STEMMER IMAGING presents the new Genie TS range of GigE cameras from Teledyne DALSA. The Genie TS family is being supported by the advanced image sensors like the Teledyne DALSA's monochrome CMOS sensors. It generates resolutions ranging from 5 MP to 12 MP, with true global shutter functionality for reliable, seamless high-speed imaging.
The Genie TS is the premier machine vision camera platform that was specifically designed for Intelligent Traffic/Transportation Systems (ITS) applications. It also supports an extended array of industrial applications such as electronics, semiconductor, food, and several other manufacturing, assembly and packaging processes. The camera proves to be significant with extended and robust features included in a GigE camera.
For optimizing several images captured in various environments, the Genie TS provides a significant dynamic range for traffic applications. Some of the in-built features include mechanical lens control with aperture zoom that is used for image-to-image capture and focus functionality. The image compression, image transfer-on-demand, auto iris, the RS-485 and RS-232 ports are together incorporated into a robust, compact body of just 49 x 49 x 54 mm. Simplified installation of high speed data transfer and multi-camera networks is facilitated through a GigE Vision compliant device linked to a PC interface.
The first three cameras to supplement the STEMMER IMAGING series include the Genie TS-M3500 with 3520 x 2200 pixels at 15 fps; Genie TS-M4096, with 4096 x 3072 pixels running at 10 fps; and the Genie TS-M2500 with 2560 x 2048 pixels at 24 fps.
