B.E. Meyers and ADS Win U.S. Army Green Laser Interdiction System (GLIS) Program

B.E. Meyers was declared as the winner of the Green Laser Interdiction System (GLIS) Program by PEO Soldier, through its Soldier Maneuver Sensors Office.

This award emphasizes B.E. Meyers’ authority in the non-lethal laser market, and preserves the GLARE product line as the only broadly utilized non-lethal green lasers existing in the U.S. military. This recent award demands an initial delivery of 12,542 units of the novel GLARE MOUT Plus non-lethal laser, and supports additional orders in 2012 and 2013.

Brad Meyers, the CEO of B.E. Meyers says that this achievement is the result of two years of effort to extend this non-lethal laser device to the U.S. Army, where these lasers have been intended to save lives by minimizing the frequency and severity of incidents with non-combatants, building up these young soldier’s capabilities.

ADS provide procurement solutions for this program, and will cater the requirements of PEO Soldier through the Special Operational Equipment Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) Program. ADS and B.E. Meyers, together own a long history serving the nation identically, having supplied thousands of GLARE MOUT devices to the U.S. military since 2007. Currently, this enterprise is being extended as B.E. Meyers and ADS work mutually to provide industry-leading solutions in the non-lethal space.
