FiberLight, a company providing efficient fiber optic networks has declared that it will be connecting the municipal buildings in Roswell, GA through the dark fiber network.
The new communication network is aimed at connecting fire stations, water management systems, police stations, and parks in the city, to improve security and dependability.
According to Ben Edmond, President of Sales and Marketing, FiberLight, the company was able to enhance its infrastructure to connect the city’s facilities, providing limitless bandwidth of high capacity, since the company already has a strong and deep network in Rosewell city. As per future expectations for higher bandwidth requirements, fiber has been allotted accordingly.
The private network of FiberLight has been sanctioned by the city officials in order to enable development of Rosewell, by controlling the cost of infrastructure, enhancing the network design and drawing new companies providing employment opportunities in the city.
Rosewell Mayor, Jere Wood stated that it is right to invest in the telecommunication infrastructure of Rosewell, Georgia’s eighth largest city, for the betterment of the city’s residents and for providing a motivation to new companies planning to relocate to the city. He added that the network design of FiberLight matched the requirement specification and timeframe, making it convenient to proceed further. He also added that the Municipality anticipated a long-standing growth and relationship with FiberLight.
