Manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting products, Precision-Paragon [P2] has introduced a lighting system to benefit businesses experiencing high energy costs during summer.
After installing Precision-Paragon’s energy-efficient lighting system, businesses can radically lessen the load on the heating venting and cooling (HVAC) system and also reduce overall energy usage.
The lighting engineer at Precision-Paragon [P2], Sam Bernal stated that during summer, temperatures and energy rates are very high, thereby reducing any potential for savings. Unlike standard light fixtures which produce large quantities of heat, the energy-efficient lighting system reduces power wastage and also reduces cooling expenses. Furthermore, traditional lighting systems require huge quantities of energy. Since energy requirements are high during summer months, energy consumption by these systems also becomes expensive. Bernal also explained that for every 3 watts of energy consumed by a lighting system, 1 watt of energy is required by the HVAC system in order to neutralize the amount of heat transmitted into the building, therefore increasing the load on the HVAC systems during summer to maintain suitable ambient temperatures.
By installing an energy-efficient lighting system, businesses can reduce operational costs during summer.
