Universal Display, provider of UniversalPHOLED materials and technologies to the lighting and display industries, proclaimed that it has opened an advanced chemistry lab in Hong Kong.
Universal Display will conduct its research and development activities in OLED technologies and materials in the new facility located at Hong Kong Science Park, Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. The company plans to strengthen its presence in Asia with the establishment of the new facility.
Universal Display’s subsidiary, Universal Display Corporation Hong Kong, will manage the new facility. Dr. Raymond Kwong, who works as Director at Universal Display Corporation Hong Kong, is the head of the new facility.
The President and CEO at Universal Display, Steven V. Abramson stated that the company continues to invest in the development of OLED materials and technologies to endorse its clients in the rapidly growing OLED market.
