Magnalight.com Launches Explosion Proof LED Light for Hazardous Locations

Magnalight.com has expanded its product offerings with the introduction of a new explosion proof lighting product called the EPL-JH16C-1MLED-100 Explosion Proof LED Light. The LED light with a 16" diameter head consumes only 150 W to produce a broad flood pattern light of 10,000 lm.

The LED light can be function with a voltage range between 120 and 277 VAC, facilitating connection to existing power sources. The rail and ladder bracket is made from non-sparking aluminum and its length can be altered from 26" to 43" to enable easy mounting with a broad range of ladders, scaffoldings and railings.

Portable Explosion Proof LED Light

The LED light comes with a 100 ft explosion proof SOOW cord extending in a 1523 straight blade plug that is explosion proof to facilitate connection between the power sources and the unit. Its head can be tilted to 90°, offering a light source that can be easily modified and mounted to any configuration that can house its J-hook mounting bracket. Its 16" diameter head enables it to be used as a tank light.

The EPL-JH16C-1MLED-100 has an operating life of 60,000 h. It offers intense white light covering 8,000 square feet with minimum power consumption and heat when compared to traditional halogen lamps. The LED light is rated as Groups A, B, C, D, Class 1 Div 2 and Class 1 Div 1, allowing it to be used in adverse conditions that involve flammable dusts, gases and vapors.

The explosion proof light is suitable for numerous applications such as power plant areas, utility gas plants, tunnel projects, munitions storage areas, coal-pulverizing facilities, gasoline and oil loading docks, refinery tanks and wastewater treatment plants.
