Maxxeon, a company that develops lighting solutions for construction, automotive and industrial sectors, has released a compact, simple-to-use device called the Pocket Floodlight that delivers the efficiency of a work light.
The light output delivered by the Pocket Floodlight measures approximately 10 to 20 times in intensity compared to the amount of light generated by multiple penlights.
The innovative LED incorporated into the unit provides a wide-angle coverage of light beam, a feature that proves useful for illuminating a large work area. The Pocket Floodlight comes built with a UV LED, which can be used in detecting leaks and verifying currencies.
Maxxeon’s lighting tool also comes with a red LED for night reading. Unlike many traditional flashlights that produce lights with dark and hot spots, the Pocket Floodlight features a unique reflector design to deliver a uniform beam of high-clarity.
John Schira, company spokesman, stated that the Pocket Floodlight has a better light output than other typical work lights and is suitable to meet the lighting needs of tradesmen and technicians. He further added that the lighting tool is compact enough to fit into a technician’s pocket.
