Lennox Releases Solar-Integrated Heating and Cooling Solution with Micro-Inverters

Lennox Industries has released a new, advanced heating and cooling solution that is powered by solar and can considerably reduce power bills and CO2 emissions.

The SunSource Commercial Energy System connects the solar panels directly with the cooling and heating system.

Solar Powered HVAC System

The system can be fitted into the existing structure without much retrofitting and does not require any changes in the electrical infrastructure of the building. It can be installed quickly and easily, when compared to a conventional type of solar installation. The solar module assemblies included in the energy system incorporate plug-and-play wiring and micro-inverters. The system has approximately 80% less parts than a conventional solar solution.

Each Energence roof system is capable of managing a maximum of 21 solar panels, which are enough to meet the heating and cooling needs of a building. When extra power is generated, it will be fed into the general power supply of the building or sent back to the utility’s power grid.
