Enertia Deploys Solar Powered Street Lights in British Columbia and Alberta

Electrical equipment company, Enertia Engineering has installed the solar powered street lights at Camrose County in Alberta, and Kimberley in British Columbia. The EnerSolar Street Light is suitable for use in cold weather applications.

Enertia Engineering has developed a compact, solar street light that offers autonomous operation. The company developed the street light by utilizing advanced technology for batteries, controls and LED street lights.

The EnerSolar Street Light provides ease of installation and includes no external battery box. It is not connected to the electrical grid, making the installation convenient and safer compared to typical street lights.

Enertia Engineering’s Principal and Owner, Darcy Braun stated that sophisticated intelligent controls, batteries and 120 lm/watt LEDs have allowed in developing the solar powered street lights for the equatorial regions.
